South Cheshire Branch Meeting

South Cheshire Branch’s monthly meeting is at Reaseheath College – CW5 6DF. The weather forecast is good, so we are trying an apiary meeting again!

There will be the usual Beginners’ Corner, and we will be demonstrating the various states of colonies at this time of year. We will also address weighing/hefting hives, checking during the winter and feeding fondant.

Please enter the College via Entrance 1 and park in the visitors’ car park (or the car park on the left if that is full). Then make your way to the Lecture Theatre – the “Lord Woolley Centre” – which is straight ahead. I hope there will be someone on the car park to point the way, but we will have arrows at appropriate places to help. We need you to sign in as usual at the Lord Woolley Centre, and then we will arrange for anyone new to the College to be taken in small groups to the Apiary.

After the apiary session we will head back to the Lecture Theatre for the usual announcements, questions and answers. Please note that you must bring a clean beesuit, gloves etc. Face masks are now optional. Drinks and snacks are available from vending machines in the canteen area.
