Speaker: Sebastian Owen From Vita Europe

Seb’s talk, titled ‘Nutrition: it ain’t all about the sugar, honey’, will outline the vital importance of honey bee nutrition, how so many beekeepers are getting it wrong and what you can do to ensure your bees are as healthy and productive as possible.

Seb Owen is Commercial Director at Vita Bee Health, responsible for global sales, marketing and business development. Seb has a background in biological sciences and is a ‘part time’ beekeeper, helping out at the Vita apiary whenever his travel schedule allows. After spending some time living and working in Hong Kong, Seb has now been with Vita, based in the UK, for some 13 years, developing from his initial responsibility for the Central European region, to his current role overseeing worldwide operations.
