Keith used to be a Captain for Thomas Cook Airlines working out of Newcastle. He has kept bees for about 30 years and is a Master beekeeper.
The talk starts with a look at some beekeeping history and the ideas to justify certain establishments. It then goes into present day honeybee colony politics and control of the colony. It covers the different types of queen cells which may be found in a colony along with the reasons for the cells being built. Also covered are some practical problems as a beekeeper you may come across with some suggested solutions.
