Microscopy Workshop

The workshop is scheduled to take place on Sunday 5th March 2017 9:30 – 4:00 at Frodsham Community Centre and will be led by Graham Royle. 

There will be the opportunity to carry out honeybee dissection as well as pollen analysis and Nosema/Acarine detection.  

The cost is £15 per person which will cover the cost of room hire plus the materials we will use (slides, cover slips, stains, etc), and tea/coffee. Lunch is not included so please bring a packed lunch. Please pay with cash or by cheque payable to 'Cheshire Beekeepers Association' on the day

In addition to lunch, please bring with you:

1. Microscopes together with lighting (if you have your own) 

2. Sample of bees – 30 bees (dead!). The sample should be no more than 2-3 days old. 

3. Honey samples for pollen analysis
